Erasmus Mundus Doctorate in Membrane Engineering

The programme, mainly laboratory-based, includes 2 mobility periods  in 2 Universities of the consortium, scheduled as relevant and instrumental to the fulfillment of the research activities of the doctoral candidate. The Programme will also provide doctoral candidates with advanced knowledge suitable for career in industry as R&D membrane engineers. Research and training activities cover a large spectrum of emerging and industrially- assessed applications in the field of membrane engineering, such as: desalination and water treatment, gas separation at molecular level (CO2 capture, O2, H2 purification etc.), (bio)catalytic membrane reactors (MBR, PEM fuel-cells etc.), membrane processes for agro-food applications, biomedical devices. 

The official language is English: specific courses on country languages and culture will be provided. The successful candidates will receive a multiple degree (from Home University and two Hosting Universities), as well as a diploma supplement.
