L3 and M1 admission and registration procedures for foreign students

The procedure varies according to your profile

1) Students who are resident in a country with an Espace Campusfrance CEF procedure MUST visit the website for their country of origin: www."nameofcountryinFrench" to submit their pre-registration request before 1st April 2011.
List of countries concerned:
Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil Canada, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Congo, South Korea, Côte d'Ivoire, United States, Gabon, Guinea, India, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Senegal, Mexico, Japan, Russia, Syria, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam.

2)  Applicants who are resident in France or another EU country or a country without a CEF procedure MUST pre-register between 19 March and 28 April 2012.

Completed applications must be submitted before 4 May 2012. Any applicant who has not pre-registered via the Website or whose form is incomplete will be systematically rejected.


a letter of recommendation from your main tutor in the discipline in which you are applying to continue your studies, translated into French,

the curriculum vitae to be printed out and filled in by you,

a cover letter where the student clearly states his or her career plan,

a birth certificate with a translation into French,

a detailed programme of previous studies, translated into French,

a breakdown of grades from the last two years with the student's overall average in science subjects, the overall class average and the class ranking list so we may identify the student's level.

copies of qualifications that give access in the applicant's country of origin to the course envisaged (diploma, certificate, ranking in competitive examination etc.) and their certified translation by an official French translation service.

Those who wish to apply only for the Erasmus Mundus degree Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling (called M1 Mention chimie, parcours Chimie Théorique at the UPS Toulouse) may submit their application in English if they so wish. 

Admission will be confirmed by the University Vice-Chancellor upon recommendation from the teaching commission who will assess the compatibility between the content of qualifications held and the demands of the course in question. The student's language level will also be taken into account (level equivalent to TCF level 4 is desirable in the student's interest).

Decisions will be announced in writing by the end of June.

To obtain a registration form, students must visit the Université Paul Sabatier website: / section "Courses" / "Applying/Registering" to download a registration form.
To obtain a summons, students must visit the University Main Administrative Building with their admission acceptance letter and their original qualification certificate (proving eligibility) translated into French (as well as a photocopy requested by the relevant department) between Thursday 30 th August to 13 September 2012.
Administrative registration takes place from 30 th August to 14 th September 2012.

Le respect des dates de rentrée universitaire est obligatoire.
En conséquence, les étudiants qui résident à l'étranger doivent prendre toutes les dispositions nécessaires pour être présents aux dates fixées pour le début des enseignements.
