The project is developing Master's level training programmes for physics students from the four partner countries in Latin America. The joint Master's programme being developed is based on distance learning structures using freely available computer tools.

The programme focuses on problem-solving. Theoretical modules will be reinforced by work in instrumentation laboratories and internships at research laboratories or at industry partners in Latin America and Europe.

Partners:

The partnership in Latin America is made up of the following institutions:

  • Industrial University of Santander (UIS) and Antonio Nariño University (UAN) (Colombia)
  • San Francisco de Quito University (USFQ) and Yachay University for Experimental Technology and Research (Yachay Tech) (Ecuador)
  • Main National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) and the National University of Engineering (UNI) (Peru)
  • Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and Simón Bolívar University (Venezuela)
The European partnership is formed by:
  • Université de Paris (UdP) - project coordinator
  • Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier
  • Technische Universität Dresden (Germany).

Project duration: from 15/01/2020 to 14/01/2023.
