The EM3E-4SW (Erasmus Mundus Master in Membrane Engineering for a Sustainable World) project offers a two-year Master's degree in the fields of membrane sciences and engineering, at the crossroads of materials sciences and chemical engineering.

The programme places emphasis on close collaboration between the partners of the European Research Network of Excellence NanoMemPro (EU-FP6).

The Master's degree offers two years of training, consisting of four semesters carried out in at least three different countries. The first year is spent in France, in either Toulouse or Montpellier. The third semester is spent at a second partner university and the fourth semester (dedicated to the thesis) is spent at a university or a company.

The programme and courses are taught in English.
