The Eiffel scholarship program is designed to support incoming mobility for international students who have excelled in their academic careers.

It has two components: a master's level and a doctorate level.

Priority is given to students from emerging countries for the master's level, and from emerging and industrialized countries for the doctorate level.

The areas of study eligible are:
  • Science and technology
    • Biology and health
    • Ecological transition
    • Mathematics and digital technology
    • Engineering sciences and engineering
  • Humanities and social sciences:
    • Economics and management
Master Level
Conditions and eligibility
Duration of the grant:
  • Master level, 12 to 36 months maximum:
    • 12 months maximum for an enrollment in 2nd year of master (M2) 
    • 24 months maximum for an enrollment in 1st year of master (M1)
    • 36 months maximum for an enrollment in engineering school
Application procedure
Any international student who wishes to apply for a scholarship must follow the procedure:

1. Read the conditions of eligibility, application and attribution of the EIFFEL scholarship by reading the vade-mecum.

2. Consult our university's website and/or get in touch with teachers at your home institution before contacting a teacher-researcher at Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier University.

3. Contact a teacher-researcher at the University Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier to ask for his or her support; if the latter accepts, he or she will contact the International Relations Department to request the opening of an application file.

4. Complete the application file - entirely electronically - before December 15, 2023.

5. The international relations unit validates all applications and submits them to the President of the University for approval before transmission to Campus France.

Conditions and eligibility
Duration of the grant:
  • Doctorate level, 6 to 36 months maximum:
    • 36 months, conditioned to an enrollment in first year of thesis
    • 18, 12 or 6 months, for all applicants, whether they are already working on their thesis or are newcomers to France or abroad, in co-supervision or co-tutorship

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarships were established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. The program is managed by Campus France.
