A FabLab (fabrication laboratory) is a public facility that provides users with a wide range of tools for designing and producing all sorts of objects. FabLab is a global network of local labs, enabling invention by providing access for individuals to tools for digital fabrication.

FabLabs are open to entrepreneurs, designers and artists, DIY enthusiasts, students, and anyone who is looking to speed up the process of moving from the concept phase, through the mock-up and prototyping stages, to producing the final product.

These facilities feature spaces for teamwork and innovation, allowing users to create unique objects or simply transform or repair everyday objects. Finally, in order to qualify as a FabLab, the facility must comply with the FabLab Charter, established by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Since 2014, the Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier’s FabLab, Campus Fab, has been providing users with digital manufacturing tools (3D scanners and printers, milling and laser cutting machines) and small electronic equipment (arduino & raspberrypi).

Campus Fab is open to all students, researchers, faculty members, administrative staff and technical staff at the university. It provides a place for people with complementary skills to meet on campus and stimulates innovation and the creation of new teaching or research solutions.

The digital fabrication lab is open to anyone who is interested in designing and creating a prototype. Campus Fab provides everything you need to quickly design and produce prototypes of innovative objects.

Here you will have the opportunity to meet with other innovative and passionate designers, including students and professionals who are available to provide you with prototyping and digital creation expertise in order to help you with your project.

As part of "Le Catalyseur" (a third place and pre-incubator for projects on the Rangueil campus), the Campus Fab is also a network of entrepreneurs who are eager to share and exchange their ideas!

Here you will find laser cutters, 3D printers, modelling software, computers and a wide range of electronic and robotic tools.

Feel free to come and visit us; our team will be more than happy to help you!
