President of the University of Toulouse : Odile Rauzy

 




Odile Rauzy is a professor of internal medicine. She was previously Vice-Dean of the Department of Medicine, Midwifery and Paramedicine at the university's Faculty of Health (Faculté de Santé).

With a strong academic background within the university, she obtained her doctorate in 2006 and was appointed PU-PH (University Professor and Hospital Practitionner) in September 2008.

She has already held a number of institutional positions within our institution : vice-dean of the Purpan Faculty of Medicine between 2016 and 2022, and member of the CFVU (Commission on Education and University Life) since 2019.

She was also heavily involved in the creation of the Faculty of Health and was responsible for chairing the Teaching Committee. She has been involved in a number of accredited projects, including student training and assessment, the inclusion of patient partners in the training of caregivers, and the development of the territorial focus of health training.

She has also held a number of key positions within the CHU, including Head of Internal Medicine department, Deputy Head of the Oncopole unit and Vice-Chair of the CHU's Medical Workforce Review Committee.

Statutory Vice-Presidency

Myriam Carcasses : Vice-President of the Bord of Directors

Professor of Civil Engineering at the IUT Paul Sabatier, in the Sustainable Construction Civil Engineering Department, she works in the Construction Materials and Sustainability Laboratory.

Her responbilities are :

  • To build decision-making processes that allow university democracy to function.
  • Implementing subsidiarity with the administration, components and boards.
  • Coordinating the university's resources to support staff and student projects.
Vincent Paillard : Vice-President of the CFVU

University professor, he teaches physics in the undergraduate and graduate level at the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSI) and carries out his research in nanophotonics at the CEMES-CNRS.

His missions are :

  • To ensure that the courses offered meet the challenges of science and technology, in conjunction with research and taking into account environmental and social changes.
  • To promote student success through a wide range of career paths
  • To provide a quality of student life that is conducive to success
  • To enhance the University's reputation locally and internationally
Matthieu Arlat : Vice-President of Research

Professor at UT, he teaches microbiology in the Departement of Biology & Geosciences at the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSI).

His missions are :

  • To improve support for research groups and laboratories, so that there is more for research and to make our professions more attractive,
  • To provide the human, financial and material resources needed to carry out cutting-edge research,
  • To implement a scientific policy in line with the site policy, to promote interdisciplinarity, to co-construct the University of Toulouse and obtain the status of a Major Research University.

Delegates Vice-Presidency

Karine Groenen-Serrano: Delegate Vice-President in charge of employees, careers and quality of life at work

Professor at the FSI, in the Department of Chemistry and researcher in the Chemical Engineering Laboratory.

Her responsibilities include :

  • Multi-annual, shared and concerted employment policy,
  • Career support and monitoring: compensation policy, re-ranking, personalised monitoring,
  • Quality of life at work: health promotion, development of a UT culture.
Yann Cressault: Delegate Vice-President in charge of structural projects and innovation

Professor in the Electronics, Electrical Energy and Automation (EEA) Department at the FSI, he carries out his research at the LAPLACE laboratory.

His responsibilities include :

  • Structuring and coordinating with the Major Projects Division the various actions necessary for the creation, implementation and monitoring of major projects.
  • Contributing to strengthening interactions with partners across the regional, national and international ecosystem.
  • Supporting the University Innovation Hub.
Jean-François Mazoin: Delegate Vice-President in charge of campus assets and sustainable management

He teaches Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Toulouse and at the IUT Paul Sabatier, and is also in charge of the Occitanie Pad'Occ Acceleration Platform.

His responsibilities include :

  • Drawing-up and monitoring the multiannual real estate strategy plan,
  • Campus development within a framework of ecological and economic sustainability, safety and security at work,
  • Monitoring of projects and their funding, research and implementation of new financed projects,
  • Developing, strengthening and optimising policies for the management of premises, furniture and, more broadly, logistics, for the benefit of users and building occupants.
Julien Delrieu: Delegate Vice-President in charge of equality, inclusion and diversity

Senior lecturer in odontology, he carries out his research work at the UMR Éducation, formation, travail, savoirs (Education, training, work and knowledge) in Education and Training Sciences at Jean-Jaurès University.

His responsibilities are :

  • To promote equality, diversity and inclusion throughout the university community by extending UT's efforts to promote gender equality in the workplace and equal opportunities for learners in order to encourage access, success and professional integration, regardless of their profile, disability, international origin or socio-economic background,
  • To combat all forms of violence and discrimination, particularly those linked to gender, disability or racism, in order to provide a safe and respectful working and learning environment for everyone at the University of Toulouse, whether students or staff.
Nathalie Del Vecchio: Delegate Vice-President in charge of ecological and societal transition strategy

Senior lecturer at the FSI.

Its missions are :

  • To co-construct a master plan for transitions, to share collectively the commitments it contains, and to integrate it into all the activities of our university, in line with the policies of the University of Toulouse, the region and the national framework,
  • To implement and manage the strategy of ecological and social transition (TES) within our institution (allocation of resources, evaluation and analysis of the approach, etc.)
  • Working with all the university's internal and external stakeholders to build a responsible society that reconciles the social, economic and environmental dimensions.
Philippe Garnier: Delegate Vice-President in charge of the environmental transition of campuses

Senior Lecturer and teaches in the Physical Measurements departement at the IUT (University Institute of Technology) he conducts his research in astrophysics and planetology at the IRAP laboratory.

His responsibilities include:

  • Proposing, validating and supporting the implementation of an ecological transition plan for the period 2024-2030 aiming at the reduction of the environmental impact of the university's activities and at the development of the campus' adaptation to global warming.
  • Supporting the approach to ecological transition issues developed by the university's departments, services, components and laboratories, as well as with external stakeholders.
Richard Guilet: Delegate Vice-President in charge of European and international relations

Teacher-researcher at the IUT Paul Sabatier, he is attached to the Chemical Engineering Laboratory.

His role is to :

  • Develop a strategy for European and international cooperation: with the components and research laboratories, through better structuring of the players involved in cooperation,
  • To increase the internationalisation of courses in various ways: to consolidate the language skills of UT3 students and facilitate the integration of incoming students, to innovate pedagogically by including an international dimension,
  • Increase outgoing and incoming mobility and promote interculturality: facilitate and promote mobility and welcome incoming students under the best possible conditions.
Nicolas Carrere : Delegate Vice-President in charge of Lifelong Learning (FTLV) and training for the Ecological and Societal Transition (TES)

University professor and hospital pracitioner in visceral and digestive surgery, he is head of the digestive surgery department at Toulouse University Hospital.

His responsibilities include :

  • To develop the range of lifelong learning courses on offer in conjunction with the various departments, and to ensure that they evolve in line with the needs of new professions,
  • To support the introduction of training courses for students and staff relating to the ecological and societal transition.
Gilles de Berranger : Delegate Vice-President in charge of Student and Social Life

Has been head of the instituions's Cultural and Soical Action Service (SCAS) since 2017.

Its remit is to :

  • Improve the quality of life on campus and study conditions: combating insecurity, preventing psychosocial risks, promoting health and well-being, and improving services and facilities,
  • Develop personal services and cultural, sporting and social activities: social links, campus activities, recognition of students' involvement in the life of the institution,
  • Strengthening social support: preventing and dealing with situations of vulnerability, difficulty or distress among students.
Nicolas Destainville : Delegate Vice-President in charge of research strategy and quality

Professor at the University of Toulouse, he teaches physics at the FSI and carries out his research at the Theoretical Physics Laboratory (LPT).

His responsibilities include :

  • Coordination and monitoring of research strategy,
  • Simplification as part of the site policy,
  • Ecological and societal transition in the field of research.
Noelie Davezac : Delegate Vice-President for Science and Society

Professor at the University of Toulouse, she teaches molecular biology at the FSI and carries out her research at the Restore Laboratory.

Her missions are :

  • To contribute to the dissemination of knowledge through a local, national and international base, with and for the public,
  • To share and publicise the contribution of science to societal challenges with university staff and students,
  • To encourage dialogue with all the university's stakeholders, in line with the site policy.
Sandrine Geoffroy: Delegate Vice-President in charge of responsible digitisation

Professor in the Sustainable Civil Engineering Department at the IUT. She conducts her research at the LMDC in the field of transfers in confined environments.

Her responsibilities include:

  • Improving the digitalworking environment at the university,
  • Developing digitisation and supporting the simplification of administrative processes through digital technology,
  • Adopting a responsible attitude towards ecological and societal transition.
Maud Le-Hung: Delegate Vice-President in charge of student guidance and professional integration

She is a mathematics teacher ("Professeure agrégée") and signal processing engineer at the IUT. 

Her responsibilities include:

  • Mapping, strengthening and promoting training pathways at all levels internally and with partner institutions (secondary schools, colleges, etc.),
  • Strengthening information and guidance systems in connection with ongoing projects (Acorda, etc.),
  • Strengthening training support in the development of personal and professional project construction systems to promote professional integration,
  • Contributing to synergies between IO-IP stakeholders within the university and with the external ecosystem.
