Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling

Disciplines: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics and Materials science. The TCCM (Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling) programme offers two academic training programmes: a Master's and a Doctorate.

TCCM is a two-year Master's programme offered through seven European partner universities. Its aim is to train students in using and developing computational techniques in molecular sciences, to prepare them for careers in pharmaceutical innovation, the petrochemical sector and the new materials industry. This Master's programme also prepares students for doctoral studies in the fields of chemistry, physics, and life and material sciences.
 

Who can apply?

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics or Materials Science or the equivalent level
  • You must have an English proficiency certificate: TOEFL score of at least 213/500, 65/120 or 513/677 OR an IELTS score of at least 6 OR First Cambridge Certificate attesting to at least a B2 level

Scholarships:

Scholarships are awarded by the following universities: Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain), University of Toulouse (France) and the University of Valencia (Spain).
They cover tuition fees, travel and relocation costs as well as a monthly living allowance for the duration of the Master's programme.

The TCCM doctoral programme aims to prepare students for research in the area of using and developing computational techniques in molecular sciences and materials sciences. TCCM Doctoral students can work in the fields of chemistry, physics, materials sciences, nanosciences as well as biological chemistry. The TCCM Doctoral programme also prepares students for careers in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, tech and new materials industries.
