The university welcomes nearly 4,000 students from around the world – roughly 16% of whom are doctoral students and 5% of whom are students completing jointly-supervised theses – based on 126 international cooperation agreements and 700 Erasmus+ bilateral agreements.
The incoming and outgoing mobility of the university community is strongly encouraged by the university; it has set up dual degree programmes and branch campuses in Canada, China and the United States and developed strategic partnerships by awarding grants for theses with joint supervision. Lastly, it encourages international joint degrees: Erasmus+, Erasmus and a number of European transnational programmes.
