The UNIVERSEH project aims to create a European university around the theme of space in all its aspects (science, engineering, economics, social and human sciences, patents and innovation, entrepreneurship, science and medicine, art and culture etc.)
The goal is to develop a new collaborative approach in the field of higher education for the space sector, by creating new, interactive experiences in higher education for the academic community, teachers and students, and for the benefit of society as a whole.
The project is set to run three years and aims to develop a competitive, high-quality educational programme, based on innovative new educational approaches.
The project will include new flexible joint curricula, student and teaching staff mobility, close involvement of the space industry with preparation for entrepreneurship, and innovative educational practices based on the use of digital technology.
The European UNIVERSEH "European Space University for Earth and Humanity" project led by the Federal University of Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées is funded by the Erasmus+ programme through the "European Universities" initiative. This measure aims to support the development of transnational alliances between European higher education institutions for the benefit of students, teachers, researchers and society as a whole.
