IMPORTANT: All Erasmus students must have been selected by their home university to go an exchange period at the Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier (UT3).

French proficiency level and courses
French proficiency level:
The majority of the courses at Université Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier are taught in French. The Faculty of Medicine requires a sufficient level of proficiency to follow the lectures. Applications will be accepted subject to students' passing a French language assessment.
French courses:
Erasmus and Erasmus Mundus students may take 36 hours of French courses on the Université de Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier campus and earn 3 ECTS (recognised by the home university).
These courses consist of an intensive 12-hour course at the beginning of the semester and an extensive 24-hour course throughout the semester.
Special Erasmus+ application procedure for medical students
Important: applications for the 1st and 2nd semester of medicine must arrive before 15 May.
Applications must include:
The completed Erasmus application form
A covering letter written in French indicating how many and what kind of internships are desired
Reservation form for a university room (if needed)
Registration form for intensive French language courses (if needed)
All applicants must take the French language assessment for medicine; only students who demonstrate a B1 level of French proficiency will be accepted.
All students who have sent in their complete applications will receive a code to take the French language assessment.
